A lifetime of disappointment
Supporting the lads (and they need it) here's our version of Blaydon Races/Cock of the North....Toon,
Toon
CDs
April 2007 and the band were in
White Wolf Studio to record Hills of Connemara, Blackleg Miner and Dingle
Regatta. Listen here to Danny Gall's recording debut on Hills
of Connemara.
Meanwhile "Charver Moi" is intermittently
available
again:

It's still only
a fiver and is available when we remember to bring it to gigs. It was recorded all over
the place: Northern Recording at Consett, the Cluny at Byker, and at White
Wolf at Tanfield Lea, where it was mastered.

Tracks are: Waxies Dargle, Byker Feckers,
Broon Coo, Cunla, Ballydesmond, Streams of Whiskey,Tell Me Ma, Who Are
You? New York Girls, Spootiskerry, Fields of Athenry, Galway Races,
Mursheen Durkin and Sally MacLennane.

"Knockin' the winda" was our live
CD recorded at Twice Brewed at the 2005 St.Patrick's party gig. The track listing is:
Cunla, Ballydesmond, Waxies Dargle, Broon
Coo, Sally O'L, Maggie Would, Byker F***ers, Muirsheen Durkin.
Stocks now very limited.
Byker F***ers
Put the kids to bed and have a listen to our
song Byker F***ers. The song was written after Malcolm was doing some
research into the origins of the well-known Tyneside ditty "Byker
Hill and Walker Shore". Unfortunately he couldn't find Byker Hill....
and the rest, as they say, is history. Byker F***ers was in the Get Rhythm
charts for 4 months, peaking at number 12 and remains one of our most
popular songs with audiences everywhere (except Byker, for some reason).
Here's the studio version in mp3
format.
